I enjoy using piles of concrete blocks to represent different states of mind. I also love the word discombobulated, which describes my state of mind on many occasions. So I challenged myself to evoke this feeling in a painting, using only cinder blocks. You will have to be the judge whether or not I succeeded. Please remember the painting is completely flat. The silk painting has been mounted onto a hardboard panel that was cut to the shape of the pile of blocks.
