My best contemporary artist friend, Carlos Cobos, took a stunning series of photographs of a young man. I saw this image of a man looking inwards and conceived of a collaboration entitled Introspection. It is painted on silk, which is then mounted onto a hardboard panel with acid-free adhesive. I cut the board with a jigsaw to the shape of the concrete block.
