During my wildlife art days, my first painting of a duck placed second in the $2,000,000 Federal Duck Stamp competition. I later won several state competitions. In 1986, Ducks Unlimited named me Artist of the Year.
My paintings are in art collections throughout the world. They have been shown in museums in many countries and have won numerous awards. In 2010, I won the South Florida Cultural Consortium Fellowship for Visual Arts. My painting “Monday” is included in the permanent collection of the Frost Art Museum, Miami. This attests to the quality of the work.
