My point of view is unique. My chosen muse is a common, mundane, disregarded object largely devoid of color. Ubiquitous to the point of being invisible, it is an object we walk by every day with barely a glance. I paint portraits of concrete blocks and cinder block walls. I acknowledge their flaws and celebrate their imperfections, for therein lies their beauty.
